A Message From Dr. Tanner
“The field of periodontics appeals to me for two reasons. I mostly enjoy working with patients to overcome obstacles to excellent dental health and function. The specialty also appeals to me because it requires a gentle touch along with precision and technical skills. Not too long ago, it was a foregone conclusion that part of the aging process meant increasing dental problems and loss of teeth. We are now able to restore function and esthetics like never before and can offer patients alternatives to accomplish these goals.
I find it rewarding to help preserve and enhance the foundations for my patients’ smiles using the most innovative techniques for treating periodontal disease such as regenerative soft-tissue and bone grafting, site preservation and dental implants. I know that periodontal surgical procedures can be new and intimidating, so I always take the time to explain the condition and treatment options in plain language. My friendly, knowledgeable staff and I treat every patient with the kindness, respect and excellent focused care they deserve.”
